Business with a lot of knowledge

BELGRADE – First he was a web designer – at the age of 16 he created internet sites for various firms in Belgrade.
He got his first job aged 17 in a Belgrade agency, and at the age of 19 he entered the entrepreneurial waters by launching and developing his first commercial undertaking – in his own domain in which he invested nine US dollars and developed three products for assisting users of the software solution Magento to beat their competition by changing the design of their store in just a few minutes.
Businessmen worldwide realized the potential of the solution, and when in just a year and a half the number of clients reached an unprecedented number of 400 for an unknown entrepreneur from Serbia, an American company showed interest in buying his firm. In this way he sold his first enterprise successfully, and it continues to operate, of course under a new name.
Rade Joksimović new start-up Loyalis Technologies, Inc
Today Rade Joksimović – an already successful young businessman, an undergraduate of Engineering Management at Singidunum University (it is exceptionally difficult to find a balance between work, university studies and private life, which, he says, I regard as a very important foundation for any sort of success in life), director and co-founder of the technological start-up company from America founded together with his partner Boban Kariško - Loyalis Technologies, Inc.
Loyalis is an American company which allows internet sales outlets to recognize, reward and thereby retain their most loyal customers, thereby increasing their own profits.
Rade lives and works in Belgrade, since recently in new offices at the Sava Center within the framework of a technological accelerator and fund named StartLabs, from which two months ago they got financial support.
"I was fortunate in entering entrepreneurial waters very early on, quite successfully. The reason why I left a “secure” job for the first time and went for my own enterprise is my great passion for challenges, which automatically appear when you launch any kind of business".
"The funds from the sale of my first firm helped us to finance the development of Loyalis more than a year before we got our investment. As for the process for getting an investment – we were generally quite involved in the entire "start-up ecosystem" in the region, many people were acquainted with our work and that helped us to establish contacts with a large number of investors".
"In spite of not formally looking for an investment for the first year of working on the project, we were extremely grateful for the advice we got from certain people, most of it coming from those who later invested in us".
"My opinion is therefore that investments do not happen at a given moment in time, but are a long-term process of learning about, discussing and harmonizing plans with investors. Or that was so in our case".
"We negotiated with several huge foreign investment funds who were interested in providing financial support for us, but we abandoned negotiations the minute we felt that Nebojša and Voja from StartLabs were interested in taking the next step with us, for the simple reason, which later proved correct, that we got from them more than just money".
"We received enormous knowledge and experience, incredible mentors and an opportunity to acquaint us with absolutely every person we could think of in our industry. Jugoslav Petković, one of the most respected investors in this region in our branch, indubitably one of the biggest experts for internet trading and the development of start-up companies in America, also came to the aid of "StartLabs".
Awards of Internet Sales Outlets to the Most Loyal Customers
The short-term goal is placing a system of loyalty in as many internet sales outlets as possible who use the software solution Bigcommerce (with whom we are official partners since last month), and simultaneous expansion to other software solutions for internet shops by the end of 2015.
Loyalis’s long-term goal is developing and marketing a package of internet products which will assist the managements of internet shops to get a better insight into their operations and with the help of software foresee changes in the behavior of clients and automatically adapt their operations to increase profits and ensure the satisfaction of end users.
